Sepax 2 Cell Processing System

FamCord

Isolated the nucleated cell fraction separated from red blood cells of cord blood without the use of a sedimentation agent. Process an initial volume between 30 and 220 mL (anti-coagulant included) and select a final volume between 15 and 25 mL.

PlasmaFree

Remove the plasma component of umbilical cord blood (UCB) without the addition of a sedimentation agent. Process and initial volume between 30 and 440 mL and choose a pre-defined strategy for the final volume.

UCB

Concentrate the nucleated cell fraction separated from red blood cells of umbilical cord blood (UCB) without the use of a sedimentation agent. Process an initial volume between 35 and 290 mL and select a final volume between 10 and 50 mL.

UCB-HES

Concentrate the nucleated cell fraction separated from red blood cells of umbilical cord blood (UCB) using Hydroxyethyl Starch (HES) as a sedimentation agent. Process an initial volume between 35 and 320 mL and select a final volume between 20 and 50 mL.
